Early odds, TV, time, streaming, and major plot points for the 2024 Super Bowl between the Chiefs and the 49ers in Las Vegas

There are now only two teams left in the running for the 2024 Lombardi Trophy. The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers both won on Sunday and will now play in the next Super Bowl LVIII, which shall be held in Las Vegas on February 11.

The league championships are over, with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs easily beating Lamar Jackson along with the No. 1 seeded Ravens and the 49ers coming back from 17 points down to beat the underdog Detroit Lions.

Now it’s time to look ahead to Super Bowl Sunday, which will be a rematch of the first game of the 2023 season.

We’re taking an early look at what to expect from the matchup since it’s only two weeks away. Our NFL Nation reporters Nick Wagoner and Adam Teicher take a closer look at each team. Stephen Holder sets the scene with what you need to know.

Matt Bowen breaks down the game plan alongside a key matchup, Seth Walder does some math to give that you some important stats to know, and Eric Moody finds an “X factor.”

Aaron Schatz answers some of the most important questions about the last game of the season, as well as Jason Reid looks at the quarterback matchup. Finally, here are some early guesses from our experts based on their gut feelings.

There are four teams left in the NFL playoffs: the Baltimore Ravens, the San Francisco 49ers, the Detroit Lions, and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Several sportsbooks have posted odds for possible Super Bowl LVIII matchups based on these teams.

The Super Bowl has the most bet-on competition of the year, and people start betting on it before they even know which two teams will play.

From a plot point of view, all four possible matches are interesting. All season, Baltimore and San Francisco were seen as the two best teams.

The Chiefs could be the first team since the Patriots (2003–2004) to win back-to-back championships if they make it to the Super Bowl.

Lions-Chiefs would prove to be a good way to end the season since they played each other in the first game.

Also, Detroit is the only team that has been around since the beginning of the Super Bowl era but has never played in the big game.

The Lions have never been very good in the NFL, but Dan Campbell’s charm and Jared Goff’s comeback have made them the ultimate plucky story in Motown.

A lot of people watched the action on Christmas, and since then the Ravens have gone on to beat the Dolphins, the Texans, and the Chiefs to make it to the Super Bowl.

I think they will be the underdog and the team with the most support in this game. Two of those wins were also huge.

In that game, the box score showed that it was a lot more intense compared with the final score. Avg. 6.3 yards per play, the 49ers were able to move the ball around freely.

The Ravens got four interceptions from Brock Purdy and sealed the win by picking off Sam Darnold.

If they play again, I don’t think the 49ers will turn the puck over five times, but Ravens defensive specialist Mike Macdonald has been doing a good job this season against offenses planned by Kyle Shanahan.

The game environment is the most important thing to think about when making decisions in fantasy. Because of this, I’m going to divide each game into three groups: Binge, Stream, and Skip.

When you “binge” a game, you watch it all at once, like a show you can’t miss. You might even finish all the episodes in one weekend. Here are the fantasy games that get all of your friends excited and have stories that set the tone for the season.

You watch shows from beginning to end, but sometimes you watch them in chunks instead of all at once.

Games you want to “stream” are like those shows. The games may not have many “must-starts,” but we can pick and choose, and both sides are bound to be important in the National Football League playoff picture.

Last but not least, games you want to “skip” are like TV shows you’re mostly avoiding but may view an episode now and then.

These games aren’t the best for fantasy football, but there will be one or two players who stand out and aren’t very well known.
