Eagles PFF grades: Best and worst performers from Week 14 loss to Cowboys

When the Eagles lost to the Cowboys in Week 14, PFF gave them grades for the best and worst players.

NBC’s Sunday Night Football showed that the Eagles lost 33–13 to the Cowboys in Dallas on Sunday night.

There are many numbers that show how disappointing the loss was, but the week’s 14 PFF scores are the most damning proof of top players failing to do their jobs in key spots.

It cost the team a lot of points when quarterback Jalen Hurts threw incomplete passes (18-27) for 197 yards and no scores.

All three of Philadelphia’s mistakes in the loss were made by their “big three”: Hurts, A.J. Brown, and DeVonta Smith.

The Eagles still have power over their fate, and if they win out, they can win the NFC East. As the teams get ready for Seattle, here are the top ten best and worst players from Sunday night, according to PFF.

The NFL had a doubleheader on Monday night for only the third time this season. With both games getting down to the wire, it might go down as the greatest Monday doubleheader in NFL history.

As time ran out in New York, the Giants stunned the Packers by making a 38-yard field goal to win 24–22. The Bengals let in 254.3 yards of receiving per game, which is the sixth most in the NFL.

A young group of cornerbacks has had their share of ups and downs this season, which makes sense given how much faith they put in them. Now Cam Taylor-Britt is on the sick list for the team.

The team has put a lot of money and time into the offensive line over the last two offseasons, but there are still spots that need to be filled.

According to TruMedia, the unit has not lived up to standards because it gives up pressure every 2.33 seconds, which is the last margin in the league.

Tre’Davious White, a cornerback, hurt his Achilles, which ended his season. As of November 2, the Bills put Kaiir Elam on injured reserve because he hurt his ankle. Taron Johnson and Christian Benford make up the rest of the Bills’ defense.

While the Bills were getting Rasul Douglas in Green Bay, the Packers were already looking for a reason to start rookie Carrington Valentine.

The defense’s core has been a worry for Buffalo. Linebacker Matt Milano and defensive tackle DaQuan Jones are both out with injuries. Defensive tackle Ed Oliver has also been slowed down by an injury.

Because the team needs to fill a spot, Terrel Bernard, Tyrel Dodson, and Dorian Williams were told to grow up quickly.

In the past month, Denver has gotten a little more exciting, but their defense has not been very good. After being a free agent, Dre’Mont Jones left Denver.

During Sean Payton’s time as head coach of the Saints, length and depth were very important.

This has been questioned early on in his time as head coach of the Broncos. It’s the worst defense in the NFL that the Broncos let in 149.7 yards per game.

Safety is another area that needs work. Kareem Jackson is serving his second ban of the season, and Caden Sterns is on injured reserve.

Wills was put on the injured reserve list after getting hurt against the Cardinals. In the last four games, Geron Christian has filled in at left tackle.

Before getting an injury a few weeks ago, rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson was getting better. So far, Joe Flacco might be the best choice.

The biggest challenge facing this team will remain finding a quarterback who can play well for two weeks in a row.

Nick Chubb, an offensive tackle, Jack Conklin, and Jedrick Wills, a running back, have all been hurt badly for Cleveland. They were able to get over those losses.

The wide receivers haven’t been playing their best. A few weeks ago, rookie Quentin Johnston dropped a score that won the game.

Star quarterback Mike Williams has been out for the season in a torn ACL, and Josh Palmer has been hurt and can’t play. They have 24 drops, which is the second-highest in the league.

In general, the Los Angeles defense has not been very good. In recent offseasons, the team has added players that defensive tackle, but those moves have not yielded the results the team had hoped for.

Freshman Tuli Tuipulotu may make up for some of the work that edge rusher Joey Bosa missed this week because he is hurt. Because Conklin got hurt, youngster Dawand Jones had to come in early and has played well.
