It was Saturday the 21st. At the facilities of the emblematic Real Canoe Natación Club, in the capital, the women’s water polo match between Simalga Real Canoe and Leioa was held. As they explained, the Queen approached the facilities on Pez Volador street to “give visibility and support to women’s sports in general and, in particular, to a minority sport such as water polo”.
