Doña Elena's bad leg: she goes to an event with a splint on her foot

The Borbón brothers do not win for injuries. If a few weeks ago it was king philip who wore a splint on his hand due to a wrist problem, this Monday it was his sister Mrs. Elena which surprised everyone by attending the VIII awards ceremony of the Madrid Sports Press Association. The infanta arrived at the event with a Walker boot on her left foot, a splint that is used to stabilize the joints in case of sprains, fissures or fractures, among others.

The reason that forced the daughter of King Juan Carlos to wear this type of orthosis is unknown, but the truth is that it did not seem to bother her too much, as she was smiling throughout the evening. Evening that she shared with the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Diaz Ayusowith whom he has been talking in the stalls.

Among the winners of the night were the Women's Soccer Team, Euroleague champion Madrid, Griezmann (for being the top scorer and assistant of LaLiga EA Sports) and Vicente del Bosque (for his career as a coach), among others. The list of attendees was extensive: from the president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas, to the Manager of the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Pedro Rocha.

The gala was entertained by the musical group La Lola Connection and had a very emotional moment when remembering all those who left us during 2023: Fernando Llamas, Pepe Domingo Castaño, Eduardo Torrico, Emilio Alonso and José Manuel Cuéllar.
