Don Juan Carlos changes the Bribón for seafood: family dinner (and without Felipe) in O Grove

The emeritus is enjoying his new stay in Sanxenxo to the fullest thanks to the visit of his sister, Infanta Margarita, his niece María Zurita and her son, Carlitos. Hours after sailing together through the port of the Galician town, the entire family has moved to O Grove to visit one of the best-known restaurants in the area and enjoy a good seafood platter.

Their great friend accompanied them, Pedro Campos, and his wife, hosts of the emeritus on all his visits to Sanxenxo. Behind him came his sister and his two nephews, María and Alfonso. The great absence has been that of king philip, who had been hours before in La Toja, about 15 kilometers from his father. Juan Carlos himself assured the press that they would “surely” see each other, but there was no sign of the monarch tonight.

This Friday the arrival of the Infanta Elena, who shares his father’s sailing passion and accompanies him whenever he can in all the regattas. Last September they were together on the Isle of Wight and a month before, in Sanxenxo.
