Dmitrovic avoids Huesca's first victory

The Huesca does not know how to win and although he made merits to have achieved his first triumph, to those of Míchel at the moment he does not give them for more. Dmitrovic and his defense prevented the goals from the Huesca and took advantage of the stopped ball to go ahead. Only Rafa Mir was able to beat Mendilibar's team, who demonstrated their experience in the First Division.

In the first minutes, the one that most disturbed the rival was Huesca, who even saw Melero López annul a goal. A play canceled by a previous hand from Siovas and that invalidated Mikel Rico's later shot. The Basque player had three clear chances before the break, but Dmitrovic and his defense managed to avoid the goals. Mendilbar's men had experience and in a strategic move they got ahead. In a corner kick from the Guipuzcoans, Burgos easily got rid of Insua on the mark, and easily beat Andrés Fernández.

At the beginning of the second part, Eibar caused a penalty for an alleged lack of Mosquera on Oliveira. Despite the referee pointing it out, the VAR made him review the play that annulled the maximum penalty. An extra life for the locals, who tried to take advantage of the search for the points. Rafa Mir brushed the goal taking advantage of a new assist from Javi Galán, but the header touched the post.

With another header, Borja García sought the equalizer, but his attempt went out. Eibar suffered with lateral centers and with a good pass from Pedro López came a forceful header from Rafa Mir. The Murcian took his shot and Dmitrovic could not do anything. The draw was worth the visitors and little was played in the last minutes, although Juan Carlos, who came in from the bench, had a clear in the last breath, but the victory continues to resist the Alto Aragonese.

Míchel: “We had a great game”

The coach of the Sociedad Deportiva Huesca, Miguel Angel Sánchez “Michel”, pointed out after the draw against Eibar that his team had played “a great game.”

“We deserved the victory but we did not get it. I am happy and pleased with how the team has competed because it was not an easy game. Mendilibar is very good at pushing forward and we have come out of that pressure and we have played as we wanted. The scoreboard does not affect me and makes me optimistic for the future “, has stood out at a telematic press conference.

The coach also added that his team should not do “anything else” than what it does but “continue on the same path” but knowing that the chances of scoring had to be realized.

“We had a great game against an opponent who has made things very difficult for all their opponents. I can't tell my players more., the team has been spectacular and Dmitrovic has been very good. We have to be optimistic and value what the team does, “he stressed.

Mendilibar: “There are players who can give more of themselves”

The coach of the Eibar Sports Society, José Luis Mendilibar, has pointed out after his team's equalizer against Huesca in El Alcoraz that there are players in his who he asks for more and who can give more of themselves. The Basque coach has analyzed that he accepted the 0-1 at the end of the first 45 minutes, seeing the three or four occasions his rival had had, recognizing that he had reached the goal more than Eibar had.

“The second half has been more even. They have not made as many chances, it has been more even and more has been played in the center of the field,” he explained at a telematic press conference. Regarding Huesca's goal, he pointed out that his team had not defended him well because Rafa Mir was “alone” at the time of the header. For the preparer of the gunsmith team, the balance of what has been disputed in the championship at the moment in which a break is going to take place is that “there have been good moments and others not so much”. —EFE
