Djokovic's roadmap: Miami, Monte Carlo, Belgrade …

Novak Djokovic He has already set his roadmap on the ATP circuit for the next few weeks. The Serbian, winner of the first Grand Slam of the year in Australia, will start his way in the Masters 1,000 in Miami (March 24 to April 4), a tournament that was canceled last year as a result of the pandemic. It is a favorable scenario for Nole, since there he has raised up to six titles in his career. Nevertheless, has not triumphed in Florida since 2016, so this year he will try to tie the tie with Andre Agassi for the supremacy of titles in the tournament.

Then, the Balkan will head to Europe on the occasion of the clay court tour. Djokovic will begin his preparation for the second Grand Slam of the season, Roland Garros, at Monte Carlo Masters 1,000 (April 11 to 18), where he also adds a drought of successes since 2015. In his last participation, since last year he was also suspended, Novak lost in the quarterfinals to Daniil Medvedev.

The Serbian's last confirmed stop, as reflected in the information on his website, will take place on his ground. And is that the ATP circuit returns to Serbia, on the occasion of the ATP 250 to be held in Belgrade from April 19 to 25 on clay. The tournament, which moves from Budapest (Hungary), will be played at Nole's own facilities in his hometown: the Novak Tennis Center. Already in May, it is expected that Djokovic will participate in the Mutua Madrid Open (May 2 to 9) and Masters 1,000 of Rome (May 9 to 16) before traveling to Paris, where he will try to tighten the siege of majors with Nadal and Federer (he's only two of them).
