Djokovic ties it up again with a massive party in Belgrade

Novak Djokovic, a great champion on the track, does not learn from his mistakes off it. Neither did his environment nor his own family, who organized a reception in the center of Belgrade., in front of the Novak 1 restaurant, an establishment owned by the tennis player in the center, where he would have dinner with his friends and relatives to celebrate the record of 311 weeks as world number one with which he surpassed the previous mark of 310 that Roger Federer had.

Hundreds of fans cheered for Djokovic, without social distance and some without a mask, despite the measures to control the pandemic that are still in force in the Serbian capital. The father of the Balkan star, Srdjan Djokovic, was the main promoter of the event, according to the Sportklub website, with the permission of the mayor of the city, Goran Vesic, who even wrote a short speech on his social networks: “Tonight, Belgrade is celebrating Nole's triumph. To this day, Novak Djokovic from Belgrade is the best tennis player of all time. Thank you, Nole, for the joy you gave to our people. “

“Nole, Nole”, the fans shouted along with a tangle of photographers and journalists, in a considerable pile and while images and videos of Djokovic were projected on the facade of a building near the restaurant. There were also fireworks and flares. The number one, who took a real crowd bath, addressed a few words to the audience from a balcony of the family room.
