Disappointing draw for immature Salzburg

Two totally opposite teams faced each other, with different dynamics, styles and profiles. A clash of forces that resulted more even in the result than in the sensations during the ninety minutes.

The Lokomotiv had two good chances generated by Smolov, former Celta, which were a mirage in everything that would remain in the middle. Szoboszlai already warned at fifteen minutes with a distant shot, but the first goal was Russian. They asserted their aerial power with a header from Éder (1.90m) that opened the scoreboard. RB Salzburg was more aggressive in their possessions (six shots by three of their rivals in the first half) and, on the brink of halftime, a rehearsed play gave them the much sought-after draw. The young Szoboszlai, who took the corners regularly, tricked the defenders to be able to receive comfortable at the peak of the area and shoot from the edge to goal.

With all the luck they didn't have before the break, Junuzovic forced it 2-1 after two rebounds. Salzburg felt very comfortable and were not afraid to go looking for the third, but a Stankovic mistake, which tried to clear a Lisakovich header practically inside his own goal, led to the final draw. Guilherme, spectacular throughout the game, stopped Daka's heads up in injury time.

A tie that defines both sets. A talented but inexperienced RB Salzburg To know how to play with the scoreboard, get the same points as a solid and much smarter Krasnodar.
