Director and screenwriter Ventura Pons dies at 78

Being one of the most internationally recognized Catalan directors, Ventura Pons has worked with well-known faces from our country such as Aitana Sánchez Gijón, in Injured Animals; Cayetana Guillén Cuervo in Idiot Love or Rosa María Sardá in Barcelona (a map).

In addition to the more than 30 films that have been part of his professional career, the director also has several awards such as the Creu de Sant Jordi in 2007 and the Gaudí d'Honor award in 2015.
