Dinamo Zagreb wants the loan of Iván Alejo

Dinamo Zagreb has set Iván Alejo as one of their market targets for the January window. The Croatian club, leader of its league and participating brilliantly in the Europa League, is looking for an attacking reinforcement of the characteristics of the 25-year-old winger from Valladolid and there are already advanced contacts to try to shape a loan. ‘Ivi’ signed a contract for Cádiz last July that binds him until 2025. The Andalusian team took the player's pass from Getafe in an operation that amounted to around two million, although Iván Alejo had already completed an exercise on loan in the yellow box.

This season his participation with Cádiz is only reduced to 275 minutes divided into nine games, being a starter in two of them. He has scored a goal, the one he scored against Granada on the fifth day of LaLiga. Little baggage, for now. Consequently, a proposal from a team like the Croatian, which is fighting to win its championship again, but is also playing two other competitions, is welcomed with good eyes. Dinamo have just passed the round of 16 of the Croatian Cup and is offering a very good level in the Europa League, which it disputes after not having been able to access the group stage of the Champions League after losing in the last playoff round against Ferencvaros. But Mamic's team has led their group in the Europa League, with 14 points, ahead of Wolfsberger, Feyenoord and CSKA Moscow.

In the Croatian first division there is a good Spanish representation. Up to ten national players are active in their teams, highlighting Istra in which there are six of them: Sergi González, Rafa Navarro, Galilea, Perera, Fuentes and Rafa Paéz. In addition, there are Caro (Osijek), Dani Iglesias (Rijeka), Alex dos Santos (Lokomotiva) and Álvaro Martín (Sibenik). Alejo could add to the list, there is a firm interest and repeat the experience he lived at Dinamo Dani Olmo. The Spanish international surprised when he left Barcelona in 2014 and joined Dinamo, but it was a more than successful step that has shaped a brilliant career. With the Croatian team he came to play the Champions League and reached absolute internationality.
