Diego: “The game against Málaga has all the ingredients of Primera”

He Granada coach, Diego Martínez, he qualified this Sunday's game against Malaga, corresponding to the knockout round of the Copa del Rey round of 32, as a clash “with all the ingredients of Primera” because the Malaga team “is doing things very well.”

“We like to compete, put on this shirt to give our best version and that is what we are going to try to do on Sunday in a match that has all the ingredients of the First Division“, indicated Diego Martinez this Saturday in statements sent by the club to the media.

The coach believes that the clash against Malaga is “the typical match that you want” and with which “the spectator can enjoy”, so predicted a “football attractive and beautiful” tie.

“Malaga is a team that is doing very well in its league. It is a Second team, so we increased the level in relation to the previous qualifying rounds, in a First Division stadium,” he explained.

The preparer waits a game “very demanding, difficult and exciting” against a team “young, motivated, who also have experienced players and with a good one against one”.

Diego wished that Malaga can “be in First Division as soon as possible” to return to live in the highest category “an Andalusian football party”, remembering that there is “a very good communion between the two hobbies” and that “football should be enjoyed from harmony and friendship”.

The coach acknowledged that, after beating Osasuna on Tuesday, his team has had “a couple of days to catch some air”, something that “the mind and body of the players” needed.

“The more competitions and more games we play is a good sign of the exponential growth of the club. We are very psyched to change the chip because it is another competition, another rival and another type of match. So far the team is doing very well, “said Diego.

The Galician highlighted that “the commitment, dedication and mentality of the team is extraordinary”, that they give “everything” they have in each game and that they cannot “ask for more” from their players, although “then the results are a consequence of many things “so that” sometimes they will be better and other times worse.
