Diego Schwartzman qualified for the London Masters

Diego Schwartzman, despite falling this morning to Russian Daniil Medvedev, will play the ATP World Tour Finals for the first time, which will be played in London from November 15. This circumstance occurred due to the defeat of Pablo Carreño Busta, the only candidate to take the last place from the Masters Tournament.

With the victory of Spanish Rafael Nadal by 4-6 7-5 and 6-1 against his compatriot, Pablo Carreño Busta, gave Schwartzman a hand And with this result, there is no longer any possible combination that could take 'Peque' out of playing his first final tournament of the year, where he brings together the 8 best of the season. There will be Diego, who will crown his best year on the circuit.

Schwartzman will be in the ATP Finals along with Serbian Novak Djokovic, Nadal, Russian Daniil Medvedev, Austrian Dominic Thiem, Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas, German Alexander Zverev, and Russian Andrey Rublev.

In addition, the 'Peque' became the eighth Argentine tennis player to play the tournament that brings together the best 8 of the season, today called “ATP Finals”, after the historic Guillermo Vilas, José Luis Clerc, Guillermo Coria, David Nalbandian, Gastón Gaudio, Mariano Puerta and Juan Martín Del Potro, the last albiceleste racket to participate in 2013.
