Diego Martínez: “In these games the details make the difference”

The coach of the grenade, Diego Martinez, said this Friday that in “maximum demand” matches such as the one that his team will play on Saturday at the Nuevo Stadium Los Cármenes before him Villarreal “It is the details and the mistakes that make the difference.”

The coach, in the press conference prior to the meeting, reported the casualties due to injury of Luis Milla, Carlos Neva, Alberto Soro and the French Dimitri Foulquier.

Nor did he ensure the participation of the rest of the players with physical problems, such as the Venezuelan Darwin. Machís or the colombian Luis Suarez, and exclaimed about it: “We will see.”

“From now until tomorrow we will manage the call and the tuning process for the players,” he added. Diego Martinez, who clarified that “one thing is to be available and another in optimal conditions to compete in high-demand matches” such as those that his team will face in the coming weeks.

The coach from Granada explained that in these two weeks without official commitments there has been “disparity in terms of the recovery or set-up forecasts” that they had on the players who found themselves with physical problems.

“This week has been, in general, very positive and it has been good to get some fresh air and face this beautiful final stretch of the season that lies ahead. It has come in very handy due to the need we had ”, he declared.

About him Villarreal, said that it has “a good organized attack, very high possession percentages, unbalancing players with a very good technical level” and that it is a team that “regularly maintains a very defined style in recent years and has achieved good results and improved its version in Europe ”.

“It has very good players and a 'top' coach –Unai emery-. Beyond the specifics, we will have to be effective and faithful to our way of playing ”, he added.

The Galician coach stressed that his team “always has ambition to win and always thinks that the next game is the most important” despite the fact that this campaign has already accumulated “46 games just started in April.”

“We have to focus on the present and more in front of such an exciting and beautiful match against one of the greats of Spanish football,” he insisted when questioned as to whether their minds could go off on Thursday's historic tie in the Europa League against to Manchester United.
