Devastating second trailer for Harry and Meghan’s docuseries, which comes to Netflix in two parts: “They play dirty”

“It’s hard to look back and think, ‘What the hell happened?’ This is how the second trailer of the docuseries begins Harry y Meghan that Netflix premieres this Thursday, December 8. The platform will broadcast the six chapters of the production on the Dukes of Sussex in two batches: first it will launch three chapters, and on December 15 it will post the remaining three.

The second preview of the series is absolutely devastating, with new images and phrases from its protagonists, who tell the beginning of their love story and the announcement of their engagement, when supposedly everything was going well in their relationship with the British royal house. “And then, everything changed,” they say about the supposed turn that they would have taken within the monarchical institution after their wedding.

“There is a family hierarchy. There are leaks but also false data,” explains a forceful Harry. “They play dirty,” adds the son of the current King of England, Charles III, later. “The women who enter this institution have a terrible time due to the great pressure from the media.”

“I saw that they were never going to protect me,” explains Meghan then, who comes to cry before the cameras. “That terrified me,” Harry notes. “I didn’t want history to repeat itself,” he says while the documentary shows images of his mother, Lady Di, who now died 25 years ago in a traffic accident in Paris, when the car in which he was traveling was driving through the streets of the capital. French chased by several paparazzi.

“Nobody knows everything that happened. We do”

The end of the trailer is overwhelming. “No one knows everything that happened. We do,” Harry blurts out to end in a surprising message that he launches looking at the camera. The premiere of Harry y Meghan It comes just three months after the death of Elizabeth II. The couple signed a million-dollar contract with Netflix a few months ago and the death of the Queen of England would have caused some attempts by the Dukes of Sussex to park the docuseries, postpone it for a while or even lower the tone. Finally, Netflix will launch the production before the end of the year.
