Depor will ask for the precautionary measure to stop the calendar draw

The dispute of the suspended match between Deportivo and Fuenlabrada on August 7 was seen by Javier Tebas as the end of the problem. LaLiga dismissed the Coruña team and the celebration of the match gave the green light to a playoff that ends this Sunday. Thus, this Tuesday LaLiga closed its calendar proposal for the 2020-21 season with the intention of meeting Monday or Tuesday with the RFEF once the playoff has been decided to approve it and celebrate the draw. But this may not happen, since el Deportivo plans to request precautionary measures before the Federation so that it is not celebrated until Competition decides on the descent of Fuenlabrada.

If the position of the A Coruña club prospers and it obtains the precautionary measures, it would mean the paralysis of the Second League, whose starting day is scheduled for September 12. The current dates would jump through the air since the period of allegations about the request for demotion of the investigating judge of the RFEF does not end until August 31. And that would not be a definitive date either, since the A Coruña club assures that They are willing to request the precautionary before the ordinary justice in case the Competition denies it. Deportivo has already gone to that instance with another in front of asking for precautionary measures before a contentious administrative court for improper alignment in the match against Extremadura.

Even First.

Deportivo's next legal steps could even affect Primera. Last Monday the Delegate Commission met and Tebas did not summon Deportivo as it was considered a Second B team. Similarly, the club from A Coruña was not summoned for the Division Board., held last Tuesday. From Deportivo it is understood, regardless of legal resources, that the season in the Second Division will not end until Sunday 23 August, the date on which Girona-Elche will be played, which closes the promotion playoff. Thus, intends to contest these meetings and all decisions made at them, among which is the approval of the calendar proposal for LaLiga 2020-21.
