Depor dispenses with sports director Richard Barral

Deportivo continues with its movements in the sports area. During the last weeks there was the departure of Alfonso Serrano to Albacete, who was replaced in the position of technical secretary by Carlos Rosende. A few days later, Nacho Lourido was appointed head of the new sports and analytical technology department. The last movement took place this Saturday, in which ehe club from A Coruña has announced that “Deportivo and Richard Barral have agreed to put an end to their contractual relationship”.

The departure of the sports director, who had one year left on his contract, was only a matter of time, since weeks ago he was relegated from his main functions. The figure of Barral was totally touched by the planning of a squad that could not even qualify to fight in the playoff after having the highest budget in Segunda B. In fact, his last performances have been aimed at achieving transfers and trying to free the highest chips, although without success. His last operation was the transfer of Mujaid to the Belgian Genk.
