Denmark points to Qatar for the World Cup

Selection of Denmark was directly qualified last October for the 2022 World Cup after finishing first in their group with nine victories in the ten qualifying matches.

He has confirmed that his two sponsors of the training shirts will leave a space for messages of a critical nature towards Qatar, in addition to minimizing the number of trips to the country to avoid commercial activities that promote the events of the World Cup hosts.

“But now we are intensifying our efforts and critical dialogue even more, so we take advantage of the fact that we are classified to work for greater change in the country.”

“Furthermore, we have long drawn attention to the challenges facing FIFA and Qatar, and we will continue to do so.”

Earlier this week, International Amnesty published a 48-page report claiming that thousands of migrant workers in Qatar were caught and exploited, and that many of them are they faced ‘wage theft’.

The Qatari government denied these allegations, but acknowledged that their labor system was something they continued to work on.
