Decisive board with resignation planning on the table

This afternoon from four in the afternoon Josep Maria Bartomeu will bring together his board of directors in the most decisive board meeting of his mandate. Three main topics are on the agenda: approval of accounts of the past and exercise and the current (which must be endorsed by the assembly of delegates when it can meet), the convocation of the referendum of the vote of no confidence and the possibility of submitting the resignation.

The first point does not generate any controversy since the council agrees to assume an exercise of losses worth 97 million, the problem is in the other two cases.

This monday ends statutorily the deadline to set the date of the vote of no confidence, what should be celebrated between November 1 and 2. However, the Generalitat asked Barcelona to specify a multi-site protocol and to ensure that there were no crowds when voting. The club responded that with such a short time frame it was impossible to complete this logistics and most likely this afternoon's meeting will decree the Camp Nou as the only venue. A measure that does not seem to pass the administration filter, with which the conflict will be served. A drastic solution that many managers are considering and that will be put to the consideration of the board is to present their resignation and thus avoid the referendum.
