Day 4 of Primera Iberdrola: Barcelona defends the leadership against the pressure of three teams

Intense week in the Primera Iberdrola, in which an interweekly match will be played that will be played in a dizzying way this Wednesday. And it will do so with the focus on the crisis of the female Real Madrid, which has a point of nine possible in this League, and in the leadership, where four teams fight for the throne. These teams are, in this order, Barça, Atlético, Real Sociedad and Alavés.

The four star in a great fight for the first place, which is now occupied by the Catalans after adding the three victories with 18 goals in favor and 0 against. The culé team visits debutant Villarreal today (6:00 p.m.) after having beaten Valencia 8-0 just a few days ago. The yellow team will try to avoid a similar result and will arm themselves well to face the current champion of the First Iberdrola.

Following Barça's footsteps is Atlético, which has recovered its champion essence after a great league start. The rojiblancas want to return to star in the fight for the throne until the end and they know that they cannot lose their rhythm so as not to get off it. Motivated by the good situation now, Óscar Fernández's team pursues its fourth win against Alavés (20:00), a rookie with a high level.

And it is that the Vitoria team has also started in a spectacular way this season, with three victories that make the babazorra parish dream. Also in the Basque Country, the illusion for Real Sociedad, which visits Real Madrid today (19:00), is maintained with the aim of continuing in the fight for the lead.

Seven teams seek the first victory

Of the four teams that add full victories to the seven teams that have not yet won at this start of the course, one of them, Rayo Vallecano does not even know what it is to score. The rest, Valencia, Real Madrid, Betis, Granadilla, Sevilla and Sporting de Huelva, have added a point or two, as is the case of the Huelva table.

Between them, there will be several direct confrontations: Betis-Granadilla and Rayo Vallecano-Sporting de Huelva. The others will be measured against teams in the upper-middle zone of the table with the aim of scoring three points that will take them away from relegation and put an end to doubts. Thus, a busy Wednesday afternoon is coming, with the eight games concentrated from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
