David Bisbal breaks down on his most special day when he remembers his father: “He no longer recognizes any of us”

The singer has been named Favorite Son of Almería, his land, this Monday, and he has done so accompanied by the two women in his life: his mother, MariAnd his wife, Rosanna Zanetti. Both have burst into tears during the speech of David Bisbalwho has dedicated the award to his father, who has suffered from mental illness for years: “He is in a completely different world, in which he no longer recognizes any of us, only Mari, my mother, who loves her with all your heart”.

With a broken voice, the former triumph has revealed: “He is still present, although he is no longer (…) From here I want to send a big hug to Mr. José Bisbal Carrillo, although he no longer knows what is happening, so much applause for him to get through somehow. The 76-year-old patriarch of the family dedicated himself to boxing for 18 years and came to face the legend Pepe Legrá. He was also a musician and the person responsible for the passion that his son feels for this world and for his land, Almería: “I am going to give my whole life because I have always done it for my land, Almería.
