The Spanish basketball player Darío Brizuela has officially become an FC Barcelona player this Tuesday, after having signed his new contract with the Blaugrana club for the next three seasons.
In the act, held in the office of the presidency, Brizuela has signed his relationship with the culé team in the company of the president Joan Laporta; the manager responsible for the basketball section, Josep Cubells; the section manager, Juan Carlos Navarro; and the sports director, Mario Bruno Fernández.
After passing the medical examination and signing the contract, Brizuela “has set foot on the club’s facilities, first visiting his new home, the Palau Blaugrana, and then visiting the Barça Immersive Tour, the new Museum located on the Club’s premises and that it will be open during the works of the Spotify Camp Nou”, as reported by Barça itself.
In this sense, Brizuela has admitted feeling “very happy to be part of one of the best clubs in Europe”. In addition, he has shown his enthusiasm for being part of “a new project with Roger Grimau on the bench along with all the signings that are coming”.
As for his goals at the Catalan club, Brizuela stressed that they will be “helping the team and bringing fresh blood to the dressing room”. The Basque shooting guard has confessed that he has already spoken with Roger Grimau and that he really wants to work with him, and to make his debut at the Palau Blaugrana.
