MADRID, 22 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Spanish skating will be represented by five skaters in the park modality of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games: Danny León, Alain Kortabitarte, Julia Benedetti, Naia Laso and Natalia Muñoz.
The Olympic Qualifier Series in Budapest passed its sentence with good news for Spain, despite the fact that León was on the verge of the park final this Saturday.
The score in the Olympic ranking is divided into three parts: one third are the points accumulated during the qualifying period; another, the result of the Shanghai OQS; and another, that of Budapest. Each National Olympic Committee can only obtain a maximum of three quotas per gender and modality.
Skateboarding will face its second Olympic Games in Paris and its participation in Los Angeles 2028 has already been confirmed. The representation of the Spanish team in Tokyo 2020 was starred by Andrea Benítez (15th), in street, and Julia Benedetti (16th), Danny León (9th) and Jaime Mateu (10th), in park.
