It was a real shock for Laura to learn that her boyfriend of five years had pleaded guilty to killing and dismembering a man in Thailand. She was unaware of her double life and she soon wanted to disassociate herself from the scandal: she deleted her social networks and asked common friends for discretion. He has no intention of communicating with him or visiting him in prison.

Her family is being a great support for her at this time and has not forced her to leave Spain to protect her from the media hype nor has it prohibited her from speaking or seeing Daniel: Laura is 28 years old, she is of legal age and makes her own decisions.
