Barakaldo announced yesterday the signing of Zaragoza Dani estrada for the next season. The right-back joined the Biscayan team after Real Unión decided not to have him for the next season, thus closing a stage of three and a half seasons in which he had been a fixture in the Irundarra team's line-ups.
At the age of 33, the footballer will begin to write a new page in his career, in which 77 matches in the First Division stand out, two promotions to the highest category (with Real and Alavés) and his debut in the Champions League. Canterano de Zubieta, Estrada he wore the txuri urdin first team jersey for nine seasons, for a total of 153 official matches. In the 15/16 season he ended up at Alavés and, after a brief break, he signed for Real Unión in January 2017.
Estrada joins a Barakaldo that will be led by Aitor Larrazabal. The Biscayan team finished last year in fourteenth place in group II of Second B.
