In any case, nothing that Alves said coincides with the complainant’s account, which has not changed one millimeter since the first statement was taken. The midfielder, however, wants to qualify everything said in his first statement and make a new one, which would be totally exculpatory, since he considers that at no time did he commit any crime, according to his lawyers.

These, whose days could be numbered in the case, since many other specialized law firms are taking an interest in the athlete’s situation, have begun the procedures to request his release, even if it is with a high bail. To do this, they argue that there is no risk of flight, because the detainee is domiciled in Barcelona. This week the lawyers will present an appeal before the court to get him out of jail, although the resolution, if accepted, would not be immediate and the player could spend a few weeks in provisional prison.

The cameras corroborate the victim

So far, the investigation has been able to verify that the victim’s account matches the evidence. Among them are the local cameras, which collected the images of what was happening inside the Sutton nightclub in Barcelona on the night of December 30, when the events occurred.

The victim has recounted how that night the player took her hand to lead it to his penis on two occasions while they were dancing, how she “sticked to her friends a lot” and “it was making her sick”, how she invited everyone to cava and then got for her to approach the bathroom in the VIP area where the reported attack occurred.

According to the woman’s account, while she insisted that she wanted to leave, the former Barça player told her that she could not leave, asked her to say that she was his “little bitch”, and when she resisted he attacked her, grabbing her by the head. and by her hair, he threw her to the ground, hit her and forced her to perform fellatio on him. After a new refusal, the athlete began to slap her several times, after which he placed her against the sink and raped her.

The security cameras in the VIP area of ​​the premises confirm that they both spent almost 20 minutes in the bathroom, a time that coincides with the fact that neither Alves nor the complainant appear in images of the VIP area.

There are more tests that have determined the judge to send the Brazilian player to prison without bail, where he continues in the prison admission module and for the moment he has a calm but very dejected behavior, according to prison sources.
