Dan Evans, champion in the 'Battle of the British'

Dan Evans, number 28 in the world, has conquered the exhibition tournament of the Battle of the British by beating his compatriot Kyle Edmund 6-3, 6-2.

Edmund, 44th in the world, came from leaving Cameron Norrie on the road and passing as first in a group that included three-time Grand Slam champion Andy Murray.

However, Evans, who already eliminated Murray in the semifinals, He completed a magnificent performance and took the title in two sets that lasted just one hour and 18 minutes.

The tournament is charitable and all proceeds will go to donations.

In the match for third and fourth place, which had to face Murray and Norrie, the Scotsman dropped and was replaced by James Ward, who could not beat Norrie (6-3 and 7-5).
