Koen Vereecke and Jerome Guery (Belgium) together with the French Simon Delestre and Kevin Staut and the Dutch Harrie Smolders, were the proper names of the tournament, since they shared a prize of 100,000 euros for having finished all the routes without penalty.
This edition will also be remembered because it recovered the Ciutat de Barcelona Trophy – MRW Cup, one of the most outstanding individual events of the CSIO Barcelona, not contested since 2017. The current European champion, the German Andre Thieme, riding Conacco, was the winner of the test.
Another of the high points of the competition coincided with the development of the SM La Reina Cup – Segura Viudas Trophy and the stellar performance of Julien Epaillard riding Donatello D’Auge. The French rider made a time of 38.46 seconds and got the public that filled the stands of the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona to their feet.
