Cristina Pedroche and its designer, Josiehave taken advantage of their presence as collaborators of the program Zapping this Monday to clarify all the meanings of the dress that the presenter wore in the retransmission of the Antena 3 chimes and that has been the subject of criticism like no other year. To defend the model, Pedroche explained her meaning and her changes compared to the official photos, which during the chimes revealed her incipient pregnant belly: “I am adapting to my new body,” confessed the wife of Dabiz Muñoz
Cristina Pedroche’s look at the bells broadcast on Antena 3, one more year, has not left anyone indifferent. On this occasion, no matter how symbolic it wanted to be, and with more accumulated expectation than ever, after finding out that the collaborator was pregnant, the criticism has been intense, since the styling was very symbolic, but extraordinarily simple, and not too successful. in terms of materials and design.
Despite the criticism received, Pedroche assumed that he knew that these were going to take place: “I am very happy with the dress and the result, although I know that it has not been understood. It is becoming more art. That dove was a work of art,” he said. .
After being congratulated on her pregnancy, a topic on which they did not dwell too much, the collaborators of the La sexta program went on to talk about the controversial New Year’s Eve design. Only Cristina, when thanking the congratulations, was forceful again with the subject: “I did not want to announce anything, because my private life is my private life. In the official photos the panties are at another height, because I did not want to tell anything , and I was bloated and hungry. My father brought me a French omelette sandwich during the session,” explained Pedroche.

The clarifications about the controversial New Year’s Eve model insisted that the cape was more important than the interior model, as it was made with pieces of real tents used in refugee camps, trying to convey a message of peace.
Although she acknowledged that she was more worried than in other years, Cristina assured that the emotion was the same as on other occasions: “I am still adapting to my new body and the changes that were to come. When I took off my cape, I looked to see if the dove was in its place , panties in place…”.
Both she and the designer, Josie, explained that the dove was sculpted by artist Jacinto de Manuel, who also painted the hands to simulate gloves. And the skirt is a design by Iñigo Garaizabal, who has also worked with designers such as Sybilla or Daniel Delfín.
The stylist himself defended the model that consisted of a long bias skirt of white chiffon, an alleged dove shape on the chest made of white clay, and a large cape with a frame that covered Cristina’s semi-nude: “This is the most stylish outfit raw that we have brought to the bells. It is very powerful; either you love it or you hate it. There is no indifference”, said the fashion expert as soon as Zapeando started.
The expert explained that the cape was made with 62 kilos of tent fabric, which formed three triangles of six square meters joined by cotton cords, and that it took the shape of a crinoline thanks to its removable structure.
Josie also praised the courage of her friend and model, Crsitina, in “jumping on this bandwagon which is very difficult and goes beyond you shine-you shine classic. Also, the special color of Cristina’s skin is perfect for this model.”
