In an interview with the British journalist and presenter Piers Morgan, the Portuguese star has pointed out: “I feel betrayed because they have turned me into the black sheep (…) Not only the coach, there are two or three others who want me out of the club”. With his coach, the Dutch Erik ten Haghas been blunt: “I have no respect for him because he does not respect me. If you do not have respect for me, I will never have respect for you.”

In this sense, he misses his glorious times in the white team: “Leaving Real Madrid? The biggest regret of my career. I felt respect there, I had love there. If I went back in time, I would play there for free. I never should have leave the biggest club in the world. They treated me like a king,” he longed.

Personally, Cristiano is hurt because he did not feel the warmth of his fans and his club at the worst moment of his life: “Liverpool fans made a minute of silence for the death of my son, it really surprised me. In Manchester United never showed empathy for the situation I experienced, never.”

You have to remember that Georgina Rodriguez and the scorer lost in April of this year, during childbirth, the twin they were expecting. yes he was born Bella Esmeralda, the apple of his eye and that of his other four children. Cristiano has also lamented that the Red Devils did not have “empathy” with him when he was absent in the team’s last preseason because of his daughter’s admission.

Manchester United is fifth in the Premier League. Cristiano has played ten games so far this season, scoring just one goal in favor. Last season, they failed to qualify for the Champions League, which is why this year they play the Europa League, a lower competition. Of the six matches played in this tournament, where they will face Barça from Xavi Hernandezthe Portuguese has only scored two goals.

In short, numbers that are far from the CR7 of the best times. At 37 years old, the player is getting closer to leaving Manchester, where he was happy between 2003 and 2009. An impressive mansion is being built near Lisbon with Georgina and her children. He also has hopes for Qatar 2022, which could be his last World Cup.
