Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo was left out of the team ahead of this Saturday’s duel in the Premier against Chelsea, after leaving the bench before the end of Wednesday’s match against Tottenham.
The Portuguese left one of the images of the day, going to the locker room before the final whistle of his team’s victory over the ‘Spurs’. Cristiano did not participate in the 2-0 win at Old Trafford that beat the ‘red devils’ to the Champions League positions and the Portuguese left that rudeness that United has not let go.
“Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Manchester United squad for Saturday’s Premier match against Chelsea. The rest of the squad is fully focused on preparing for this match,” said an official United statement.
Cristiano was in the news this summer, with the option of ending his second spell at Old Trafford a year after his return to Manchester. From the first moment, the Portuguese lost his undisputed status with Erik ten Hag.
