Courtois reveals all the details of his wedding with the model Mishel Gerzig: “It will be in a magical place”

Instagram has become the Cupid of these digital times. Of this they can attest Thibaut Courtois y Michel Gerzig. The Real Madrid goalkeeper and the Israeli model exchanged likes through the social network and today they are immersed in the preparations for their wedding, which, among other guests, will have Florentino Perez.

“We already have the date, a magical place. It will be a private, romantic and fun ceremony, with a great party in which there will be no lack of music. We love to dance reggaeton,” the lovebirds reveal in an interview with Vanity Fair.

Its beginnings were in a pandemic, so they had to wait a while to meet in person. However, the connection was immediate: “As soon as we saw each other in person we felt butterflies in our stomachs, or whatever you want to call it. We connected right away, it was as if we already knew each other.”

The romantic request for a hand

Courtois got romantic during his summer in Positano and on a boat he declared his undying love to his now fiancée. “I already planned to give him the ring in January, but I preferred to wait for the right moment. Mishel loves the sea, so I planned everything for the summer,” says the Belgian, who distributed mobile phones and tablets among the crew to help him to record the moment.

His fiancée’s relationship with his children

In 2018, Courtois ended his relationship with the mother of his two children, martha diaz. During their time together, the rumors of infidelity by the goalkeeper were incessant. However, Marta and Courtois maintain an excellent relationship for the little ones Adriana y Nicholaseight and six years old.

The same thing happens between the athlete’s ex and his girlfriend. Although they are not friends, they get along very well for the sake of the children. In fact, they have been seen together in their sports competitions and they are delighted to now have a “plus mom”. “I know there is a mother in the photo and I really respect that. I am Adriana and Nicolás’s friend, they know they can count on me for whatever they need. They are incredible,” admits Mishel. “My ex and I have a very good relationship, she lives next door, we are a big family,” he adds.

The 26-year-old was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. “I grew up on the beach, barefoot. My childhood was very happy. Of course, as soon as I could I began to contribute to the family economy. My parents had two jobs to support my sister and me,” she explains.
