Courtois and Benzema, players of the month in LaLiga

Double of individual recognitions for the champion of League. Courtois and Benzema have received the player of the month awards in LaLiga Santander. The French striker has been named the best footballer in June while the goalkeeper has now received the trophy attesting to the appointment he earned in January.

Benzema played five games in the month the competition resumed. He scored three goals (two at Valencia and one at Real Sociedad) and gave an assist, the dazzling heel that enabled Casemiro to score in the RCDE Stadium the goal that gave Real Madrid the victory against Espanyol.
