MADRID, 22 Abr. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Corteva Cocos Rugby and CR Majadahonda will play in the final of the Iberdrola Rugby League after beating Eibar RT and Crealia El Salvador in the semifinals this Saturday, repeating last year’s final.
The two best teams in the regular phase made use of the home court factor to face each other again in a final, like the one last year, which fell to the Sevillian side, and the I Iberdrola Super Cup, won by the Madrid team.
Corteva Cocos Rugby will defend their league title after beating Eibar Rugby Taldea (26-12) in La Cartuja, thanks to a solid start with which they left 21-0 in the first half. After the titles won in 2020 and 2022, the Sevillian team will look for the third in their fifth season in the elite.
Meanwhile, CR Majadahonda will play its third consecutive final after beating Crealia El Salvador (45-29) in El Valle del Arcipreste. Las Rhinas, who defeated the champions on the last day of the regular season, did not give options to the recently promoted, revelation team of the Iberdrola Rugby League.
