Corriere dello Sport: Real Madrid, interesado en David Ospina

Real Madrid would be interested in David Ospina. According to the printed edition of Il Corriere dello Sport, the Whites would look for the Colombian goalkeeper in the transfer schedule next summer to reinforce their squad. The goalkeeper, who has not yet finished negotiating his renewal with Napoli, could reach the white team free in June, in an operation that interests Carlo Ancelotti’s men a lot.

For several weeks, the press has announced the desire of the Italians to renew the 33-year-old goalkeeper from Antioquia, who has been one of their great figures this season. But nevertheless, In recent days the negotiations have stalled and given the multiple offers that the player has received, he would no longer be willing to sign.. One of those offers would be that of Madrid, which would be looking for a goalkeeper to reinforce the squad.

“Real Madrid is launched by David Ospina. The Naples goalkeeper has an expiring contract, in five months the blue team will no longer be the owner of his pass and he will be able to leave for free. In the operation for its renewal there are no news and therefore the whites would value the Colombian goalkeeper as an interesting signing for next season. Real Madrid would have put David Ospina at the top of their preferences, “reported CdS.

According to the Italian press, Ospina’s arrival at Real Madrid’s goal would be a direct request from Carlo Ancelotti, who led him for a season and a half. However, in the last six months at the helm of Napoli, the Spanish coach relegated the Colombian to the substitute bench, giving priority to Alex Meret. The Antioqueño played 29 games with the Italian coach.

Ospina has been one of the great figures of the Naples this season. The goalkeeper has played 1,710 minutes in 19 Serie A games in which he has left a clean sheet 10 times and has conceded 14 goals. While defining his future, the player prepares for his next challenge; this Thursday, Naples faces Fiorentina in the round of 16 of the Italian Cup.
