Cornellà wins against Linense (1-0)

Linense failed to beat Cornellà, who won 1-0 during the match held this Friday at the Nou Municipal. Cornellà entered the match wanting to overcome their points in the standings after losing the last match against Albacete by a score of 3-0. Regarding the visiting team, Linense had to settle for a goalless draw against Llagostera and had a run of three consecutive draws. After the result obtained, the team from Cornella is tenth at the end of the match, while Linense is eleventh.

The match began in an unbeatable way for Cornellà, who took advantage of the play to open the scoring thanks to Carlos García’s goal in the 21st minute. With this 1-0, the first part of the match ended.

Neither team was lucky in front of goal in the second period and therefore regulation time ended with the result 1-0.

Both coaches made moves on the benches. The Cornellà coach brought in Víctor Fernández, Pipo, Dorca and Isaac Nana for Gonpi, Chiki, Moha Traoré and Gil, while Linense brought in Leandro, Samanes, Gerard Oliva, Alhassan Koroma and Toledano for Coulibaly, Leuko, Sergi , Martin and Borja Lopez.

The referee admonished Chiki on behalf of Cornellà and Leuko, Borja López and Muñoz on behalf of the Linen team.

After this game, both teams were tied on 32 points and placed in tenth (Cornellà) and eleventh position (Linense).

On the following day, Raúl Casany’s team will face Gimnàstic Tarragona, while Romerito’s Linense will face At. Balearics.
