“Contentment joy” among the txuri-urdin followers in Seville

The fans of Real Sociedad in Seville awaits expectant events on the final entrance of the public into the stands of La Cartuja in the final of the Copa del Rey, as the Spanish Football Federation intends, despite the fact that it is something that the Ministry of Health advises against. The txuri-urdin club has three Peñas in Andalusia, one in Cordoba, another in Malaga and a third in the province of Seville. It is called Peña Nazarena, and the place where its 25 members meet is a bar called ‘La esquinita del puente’ which by chance is located very close to the La Cartuja stadium.

“We are super excited, because for us it is going to be something very exciting, having the possibility of watching the game live will be something great for us. Notice that when the final was going to be played normally, we were super excited about the atmosphere that was going to take place. On top of that, my place is near the stadium, it would have been extraordinary. But having the possibility of being able to go see the final live, after what we have, can be something super exciting and to be thankful for. But for now we have a contained joy”, Says Chema Carrasco on Radio San Sebastián, a native of Seville who lives in Seville and who runs the bar where this group of Real fans hang out.

They are not the only ones who are very attentive to where this news leads, with the option of having a capacity limited to a maximum of 25% of La Cartuja and with only fans from Seville. “Roller coaster of sensations. For the moment calm, all this is nonsense the truth.

I would like nothing more than to see Real fighting for a title live but nobody really takes the fans into account. Politics, power and money, that commands. The whole thing was gone in a matter of a few hours, it was a rush”Adds Jon Urrestarazu, a San Sebastian fan who lives in Seville and belongs to the Peña Realistas El Sur.
