MADRID, 10 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Real Betis goalkeeper Claudio Bravo suffers a proximal myotendinous injury to the left hamstring muscle, the Verdiblanco club confirmed this Friday, meaning he will miss next Sunday’s derby against Sevilla FC at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán.
“Claudio Bravo has a proximal myotendinous injury to the left hamstring muscle, as confirmed by the tests he was subjected to this morning by the medical services of Real Betis Balompié,” the Seville entity reported.
The Chilean goalkeeper was injured during the match on the fourth day of the Europa League group stage on Thursday against Aris Limassol at the Benito Villamarín Stadium (4-1), although he was able to complete the 90 minutes.
According to Betis, the deadlines for his incorporation into the group “will depend on his evolution”, although he will surely miss the Seville derby. His absence and that of the Portuguese Rui Silva will make the Galician Fran Vieites the starter in goal against Sevilla.
