Chumbi resurrects Marbella

Marbella, who had not won in the league since November 29 (2-0 at Recreativo), has found in Rafa Chumbi the striker they needed. The Águilas (who forced his departure from Murcia because he wanted, yes or yes, to come to the Lorenzo Cuevas team) brought pressure, header, goal (of course) and was a constant nightmare for a Marino who, despite his goodwill and the attractive proposal of his coach, Kiko De Diego, complicates his future qualifying. Marbella is once again hooked on greening those aspirations for which it has been built. Granero, who supplied him with many good balls, has found a good partner in the new '9'.

José Manuel Aira's team came out with news. His two new signings, Eliseo Falcón and the aforementioned Chumbi, starters. Manel Martínez rescinded contract El Marino for his part lined up Jurgen Méndez, but was unable to put Mammadou N’Diaye on due to paperwork. Falcón, from Sevilla Atlético, provided security behind and Chumbi, the striker that José Manuel Aira, a Marbella coach, needed. After warning at 10 'with a powerful shot stopped by David Russo, he broke Marino's nets at 29' with a superb header after a masterfully taken free-kick by Granero.

There was no contribution from the voracious Chumbi. Seven minutes later, his pressure on Al Moukhtar earned him a valuable ball that he quickly delivered to Juanmi Callejon. The one from Motril did not think once to finish off with power and double the advantage of Marbella. The scoreline was able to increase to 0-3 but the referee annulled the goal of '9' for a tight offside.

In the second half, Marbella controlled the situation without complicating life. At 71 'Rafa Tresaco, another player happily recovered from his injury and who has been needed like eating, caused a penalty that he himself transformed to make the final 0-3. Good feelings and a monumental break for José Manuel Aira, in a complicated season where he has had a barrage of injuries, COVID cases and problems that little by little seem to be being overcome.
