Chelsea hold Willian and Pedro on the horn

All the Premier League footballers who end their contract this summer and have not signed an extension for this season finale, they will not be able to play with their clubs anymore from June 30. It is not the case of Pedro and Willian, the two most striking, who agreed yesterday, the deadline for renewals, their extension with Chelsea for one more month to make sure they can contest the final stretch of the championship. Daviz Luiz looks like he will do the same with Arsenal.

Both will be 'blues' until the last league matchday, July 26, although they could also play the FA Cup final on August 1 if their team qualifies.

Negotiations have been stretched until the last day, despite the fact that both were called for Sunday's game against Aston Villa (Willian was the starter and Pedro was warming up in the band). The case of Tenerife has been the most complex, since he has agreed to join Roma for the next two courses and any mishap in the form of injury during this month could complicate his arrival in Serie ABut they have allowed him to finish this year with Chelsea, after five seasons in London.

For his part, Willian will be rescinded and his fate is still unknown, despite the interest of several of the best teams in Europe. At 31 years old, the 'blues' have not wanted to offer him a new three-season contract, the Brazilian's goal, and he will say goodbye to the club. However, Willian will indeed be in the game in the Champions League match against Bayern in August.

Fraser and Hendrick don't want to renew

Not all footballers have ended up signing contract extensions. This is the case of Ryan Fraser, from Bournemouth, who has refused to renew with his team in full struggle for salvation. The Scottish winger, who has a goal and 5 assists, has not replicated his good season last year, but he has had the interest of teams like Liverpool or Tottenham to sign him in the free player market.

The same has happened with the Irish Jeff Hendrick of Burnley It has not wanted to renew either and values its options for the future. Without going further, Hendrick was not even on the bench Monday against Manchester City due to his situation.

For their part, there are many other footballers who have signed their extensions, although they will leave when the season ends. The cases of David Silva or Claudio Bravo in Manchester City, that of Adam Lallana in Liverpool, that of Zabaleta with West Ham or that of Vertonghen in Tottenham, announced yesterday, they are the most prominent. All of them will leave their respective teams after this summer.
