Chelsea fans propose that subscription money be donated to charitable causes

The suspension of football due to the coronavirus and the obligation to play the remainder of the season behind closed doors has caused fans to demand part of the money from the season tickets that they will no longer be able to enjoy.

Many clubs are offering various possibilities to their subscribers, however at Chelsea a proposal by fans will be promoted so that the money to be returned to individuals who rented a seat for the entire season goes to charitable causes.

The ‘blue’ club has received numerous letters asking that what is owed to some members be donated to charity, something that has been accessed. The 'blues' will call each fan to ask what they want to do with the amount owed and if they would agree to donate it to charities proposed by Chelsea.

The same goes for those who bought tickets for the next Chelsea games. They will be able to choose whether they want their money back or if they prefer to donate it to a good cause.
