Chelsea ahead of Manchester United in race for England international

The young English fullback was linked with a move into the Manchester duo in the last couple of months, but the Blues are said to be the frontrunners for their trademark.

But if their move ban is overturned Chelsea will try to signal the superstar. The London ensemble has served half of the two-window ban, was not able to sign any new player in 2019’s summer season.

Meanwhile, Manchester City is supposedly enthusiastic about Chilwell. The Citizens eye the Leicester full-back since the perfect replacement for Benjamin Mendy that is injury-prone. Manchester United, on the other hand, is being linked with a #130 Million movement for Chilwell and his team teammate, James Maddison.

Chelsea was barred from enrolling any new players this summer by FIFA after the London club was found guilty of beating their principles. The Blues might receive a reprieve in January with accounts. If so, they will attempt to sign one England international, who’s also being eyed by Manchester United.
