Sergio Canales is looking forward to the start of the new campaign with Real Betis, after being particularly fine this preseason, which he did not achieve last season, as he had some ankle discomfort that he had been treating all summer and made it impossible for him play the first league game. “It has been the preseason in which I have felt the best, the least pain I have had by far. It had been a long time since I felt so well in the face of the first league game, ”said the Spaniard, who after the departure of Javi García became one of the team's captains, in an interview on ABC.
Canales considers it essential to start the season well to engage the fans after the disappointing 15th place last year: “With the fans we have, we depend a lot on them. “I am very lucky for the affection that is always transmitted to me, that is fundamental. In addition, I fully believe in the project at Betis, despite last year.
