In its statement, issued late on Monday afternoon, Valencia regrets that despite the “strict measures taken” on the trip to the Lombard capital, “confirmed area of ​​high risk by the Italian authorities later” where on 19 February they played in San Siro (4-1), the risk that they took has been demonstrated.

“The latest results show that the exposure inherent to the matches has caused around 35% of positive cases,” said the statement by the current Copa del Rey champion, who on Sunday identified Ezequiel Garay, Eliaquim Mangala and Jos Luis Gay. like three of his five positives.

The new cases, according to the Mestalla club, are subject to medical follow-up and isolation measures, so they can carry out the scheduled work plan normally.
