Champions League: matches, dates, times, venue, format and when will it be?

The Champions League anthem will sound again in August and the ball will roll after the break caused by the COVID-19. The draw was held this Friday at 12:00 noon at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland. All the matches, with the exception of the round of 16 second leg still pending, will take place in Portugal, in a new and interesting Final to Eight that will be resolved to a single confrontation. But before that, some matches of the second round must be clarified, such as the one that faces Madrid and City and Barça and Naples. And the match times are already known. Madrid fans will visit the Etihad on August 7; Barça will receive the light-blue players on the 8th. For their part, Atlético, the only Spanish team classified for quarters will face Leipzig on August 13.

The final will be played at the Estadio Da Luz on August 23, while the rest of the matches will be divided between the Benfica stadium and José Alvalade, home of Sporting de Portugal. All the games They will be held at 9:00 p.m..

The draw has been, a priori, benevolent with Atlético de Madrid, who will play against a Leipzig that came down after Werner's departure to Chelsea. As for Madrid and Barça, it could be an exciting semifinal if they keep going in the competition.
