Ceuta takes all three points against Messenger (1-3)

Ceuta beat Mensajero 1-3 during the duel held this Sunday at Silvestre Carrillo. El Mensajero approached the game with the aim of recovering his score in the standings after losing the last game against Las Palmas At. by a score of 1-2. On the visitors’ side, Ceuta beat San Fernando at home 1-0 and previously they also did it at home, against Tamaraceite 0-2. Thanks to this result, the Ceuta team is third, while the Messenger is fifteenth at the end of the duel.

The first part of the match started in a positive way for the Ceuta team, who opened the scoring with a goal from Aisar in minute 30. Later, the visitors scored again through a goal from Reina in minute 38 that left 0 -2 in favor of Ceuta. The local team cut differences through a goal from Yeray just before the final whistle, specifically in minute 42, thus closing the first half with a 1-2 in the light.

In the second period, Ceuta scored a goal, which increased the distance on the scoreboard with a goal from Misffut in the 68th minute, ending the match with the result 1-3.

Both coaches moved the benches. The Messenger coach gave entry to Juanda, Salifo Caropitche, Jesus Cabrera, Mena and Cacho Guzmán for Josué Medina, Eslava, Jaime, Díaz and Yeray, while Ceuta gave the green light to Raíllo for Luis Alcalde.

With 23 points, Ceuta was ranked third in the league table at the end of the match, while Messenger was in fifteenth place with 11 points, with a relegation place to Third Division.

The next day the Messenger will face Vélez, while the Ceuta team will play its match against Antequera.
