MADRID, 15 One. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The AS Monaco player Cesc Fábregas has tested positive for coronavirus this Saturday, as confirmed by the Spanish international himself, who will continue to be out due to a muscle injury that has kept him off the pitch for practically the entire season.
Cesc, who could not play the next two games against Clermont (this Sunday) and Montpellier (January 23) due to COVID, announced the test result himself. “My son and I tested positive for COVID-19 today. We are fine. Hoping to return as soon as possible,” the Spanish midfielder said on his Twitter account.
The Arenys de Mar midfielder, 34, has not played an official match with AS Monaco since last August due to a muscle injury. This course, the Catalan has barely played five games: two qualifying for the ‘Champions’, two in the French League and one in the Europa League.
