Cervera sees “very difficult” to form an eleven against Levante

The Cádiz coach, Álvaro Cervera, declared this Thursday that it seems “very difficult” to form the starting eleven for this Friday's visit to Levante because there are “many” players who “have gone too far” during the season and have not will force as there is nothing at stake other than points.

Cervera pointed out at a press conference that “there are things that you do not handle” when designing the initial team that will play the last league match, such as the “future” of footballers who could leave or continue.

The Cádiz coach denied that he knew “what game” they were going to find in the Ciutat de Valencia, since these clashes “are not controlled much”, and warned that they play against a “high quality” team such as Levante.

Cervera admitted that the two contenders have “lowered” their performance once they have achieved permanence in both cases and said that his team's note for the season “cannot be other than an outstanding”, although there have been “ups and downs” that “have served to learn ”.

“At the beginning of the season nobody, absolutely nobody, thought that we were going to be saved with four or five days left,” he insisted.

The Argentinean Augusto Fernández, a midfielder who has announced his retirement from football, valued him as a “member” of the dressing room, praising the work of a player who has been important in the day-to-day life of the squad despite not playing much.
