The president of Atlético de Madrid, Enrique Cerezo, made it clear on Tuesday that it is “practically impossible” for the club to sign Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo and asked not to feed more “rumors” about signings and departures.
“I have already said many times, the story is about Cristiano, I don’t know who has invented it, it is practically impossible for him to come,” Cerezo assured the media during a ceremony at the Sports Museum to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Olympic Games in Barcelona.
