MADRID, 29 Jun. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Dreamland Gran Canaria announced this Thursday its first signing for the 2023-2024 season, that of the American center Ethan Happ, who arrives from Rio Breogán and who signs for a campaign with the Eurocup champion.
The team from Gran Canaria stressed that the Illinois player was “one of the great sensations” last season in the Endesa League, in which he averaged 12.6 points, 7.9 rebounds and 2.3 assists for a PIR of 17.3 with the team from Lugo, becoming the third most valued player and the top rebounder.
Happ was a player with a notable college career in the United States, but after not being ‘drafted’ by any NBA franchise, he began to carve out a career in European basketball that has led him to play for Olympiacos, Vanoli Cremona, Fortitudo Bologna , Dinamo Sassari and MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg before landing in Lugo.
